InvisiBelle Clip-In Hair Extensions Aftercare Guide

Our InvisiBelle clip-in hair extensions are made from 100% real hair, enabling them to be styled like your own natural hair. However, just like your own hair, you must treat them with care for them to look their best. 

Brushing 

Washing 

Using salon quality products will ensure a salon quality result for your hair extensions. 

You don’t have to wash your extensions after every use; just wash them when you feel they need freshening up or when you're changing their style such as from curly to straight. 

To wash the extensions, dampen the hair from the clips downwards with warm water. Create a lather with shampoo and water, then apply it evenly over the extensions to remove any dirt or residue like hairspray. Repeat this process to ensure the hair is thoroughly clean, then rinse well. 

For conditioning the extensions, use a high-quality conditioner on the damp extensions from the mid-lengths to the ends. A moisturizing or smoothing conditioner works well. Leave it on for a few minutes to allow the product to penetrate, then rinse thoroughly. Once rinsed, proceed to dry the extensions. 

Drying 

For your extensions to look their best, always blow-dry them, rather than letting them air-dry. 

Begin by gently squeezing out excess water with a towel. Prior to blow-drying the hair extensions, apply a heat protectant and your favourite styling products. 

Achieve a sleek and smooth finish by blow-drying with a round brush, such as The Belle Blowdry Brush 

Styling 

The great thing about these extensions is that you can style them however way you please. Remember to apply a heat protectant before styling with heat, and we advise against using tools that exceed 190 degrees in temperature. 

Hydration 

Apply a hair serum or oil to your extensions regularly, to keep them feeling soft and moisturised as they lack any natural hair oils.
